Welcome To Roger Whittall Safaris

With 50 years hands-on experience in wildlife management and big game hunting, we are one of Africa’s most distinguished and respected safari operators/conservationists, and the driving force behind Roger Whittall Safaris. Founded in 1977, Roger Whittall Safaris is well into its 4th decade of conducting big game hunting safaris in southern Africa.

Experience The Safari

Located at the junction of the Turgwe and Save rivers in Zimbabwe’s south-east Lowveld, HUMANI is the very epi-centre of the renowned Save Conservancy, encompassing over 130 000 acres of premier big game/plains game country. Striking in its vegetative diversity, Humani comprises dense rive-rine dominated by towering hardwood trees, vast mopani and fever tree forests, open plains (maparis) and broken hill country. These habitats are populated by abundant and equally diverse game populations – the big five and an impressive array of plains game species. Historically famed for its monster leopards and spiral-horned antelope, over the past 20 years Humani has also earned a reputation for producing large-maned lions, heavy ivory and big bossed buffalo bulls.
